2013 Hasbro Toyfair TF news, your hoping will happen.

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

2013 Hasbro Toyfair TF news, your hoping will happen.

It seems like the 2013 Hasbro NYC Toyfair in February will be the next big TF toys/media reveals that will kick off the 2013 year.
So I ask, what are you hoping for as far as your desired newer TF toys choices/dreams are concerned for 2013.

Here's my Short list for 2013 NYC Hasbro TF Toyfair hopes & dreams toys.
1- The Beasthunters Predacons can combine to form a 5 man gestalt.

2- $29.99 weaponizers Ultra Magnus & $29.99 Weaponizers Optimus Can combine to form a super robot mode.

3- That $29.99 or leader sized Beasthunters Predaking that was shown the first day of SDCC 2012 does not get cancelled.

4- We get more newer mold, newer character toys for the TFP/Beasthunters Voyager size class.

5- $39.99 thru $60 Leader sized thru Supreme sized toys for TFP/Beasthunters 2013 toys. not on the toddler level of design, simplicity, highly complicated, highly sculpted adult themed toys, PLEASE NO BUMBLEBEE OVER SIZED TOYS.

FOR GENERATIONS 2013 TOYS I WANT:

1- More newer mold, newer character voyager sized toys.

2- Leader & supreme sized new mold toys for 2013. my preferred choices,Metroplex,Fort max,Trypticon,G-1 styled Galvatron,G-1 Styled Rodimus Prime,1985 Styled Blitzwing,1985 styled Astrotrain. 1986 Styled Cyclonus, Masterforce styled Overlord.

3- More newer molds combiners done as Five deluxes or 4 basics & one deluxe that merge to form a gestalt.

4- Voyager or ultra sized tripple changers, even include the 1987 Two Horrorcons apeface, snapdragon & 1988 Double dealer.

5- I hate Cyber verse play sets, but if they gotta create them. At the very least do some iconic 1980's city formers like metroplex, trypticon, scorponok & fort max.

6- while i'm not a fan of basics & deluxes transformers toys, i'd prefer to see all these toys be combiners team member. do basics that are limbs bots,do deluxes that are core leader bots. do Five deluxes that form a gestalt. do Four deluxes that are limb bots with a voyager as the core leader bot that merges to form a gestalt.

I'm hoping we see some stuff that's going to hit in the fall, and that it skews closer to Classics or Generations than the FOC stuff. Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling we're not gonna see that.

Characters I really want to see get a new toy at this point:
-Brawn
-Trailbreaker
-Tailgate (They need an excuse to repaint Windcharger)
-Metalhawk
-Overlord (as unlikely as it is)

Brawn already got a few decent newer mold toys in different toy sizes. The ROTF/HFTD Deluxe Brawn toy is a awesome toy in both modes.

Metalhawk got a beyond decent Botcon Convention toy.

Trailbreaker,I think got a repainted toy in the basic size scale.

I AGREE OVERLORD NEEDS A NEW MOLD,I want one in the leader size scale. with two voyager sized vechicles that merge to form a leader sized robot mode.

Brawn's ROTF toy was a Movie toy though. I want a G1 one, with vibrant green and orange. There was the Legends toy, but that was a very limited release and is really hard to find. (The fact that Hasbro never rereleased that wave is a shame.)

Trailbreaker only got a new mould Legends toy; he didn't get anything in the Basic scale. You might be confusing him with Huffer or somebody. Trailbreaker needs to be a Deluxe, and he needs to stand around with guys like Ironhide and such.

Metalhawk got his Botcon toy, sure, but it looked ridiculous, was very expensive, and doesn't look a thing like Metalhawk's regular robot mode. I want a toy of him that looks like RID.

I thought that Trailbreaker sucked?

Joking aside, rather than wishing for specific figures, here are my general hopes for TF:

-better distribution of toys, to avoid short run waves that made TFU Brawn and RTS Windcharger so rare. (I never saw either at retail, despite looking aggressively for both.)
-fewer lazy designs. In the last 3 years or so, Hasbro's design standard has regressed considerably. The FoC toys are especially bad in this regard. This is inexcusable given what Hasbro delivered during the last decade.

(Variants of both points could be applied to regular action figures as well. "GI Joe" has not had any mass retail presence for about 2 years. There is no excuse for Hasbro to be using thigh-swivels and t-crotches.)

Dom
-just wants to be able to find toys, and have them be worth buying.

Less than Hoist!

Okay, yeah, it's an old joke. Hey, he's one of the only guys missing from the 84 lineup. That doesn't mean he should automatically be granted a toy, mind you, but also consider that he's kind of unique among Autobots--he's black, and there aren't many black Autobots (does that sound racist or what?), he has a unique power/ability (I can't think of a single other TF with a forcefield, whereas the Mega Man series, for example, has had a guy with a shield or forcefield in almost every game since Mega Man 2) and he turns into a pickup truck, with a cap--also an uncommon altmode. Plus, he's got a built-in repaint/retool (Hoist) and that isn't even counting other ones they could do. (For example, RID Ironhide cow deco!)

Now, granted, Movie Ironhide is a few of those things (black, pickup truck without a cap) but that shouldn't stop Hasbro.

A portion of that is the Joe fanbase. And you can't rightly blame Hasbro for the lack of GI Joe product this year--they were all ready to go when Paramont moved the movie back.

I have actually read/heard complaints that the GI Joe fanbase prefers the crotch designs used right now, and would like to see other lines (mostly Marvel Universe) move in that direction. They prefer range of movement so their guys can sit in vehicles, apparently. (I don't care either way as I don't have enough space to display vehicles, and haven't bought one in years--the last one I bought was the ROC Mole Pod, and before that I think I bought the 25th VAMP for Clutch.)

I really want more 5 man new molds TF combiners teams in 2013,I doubt this will happen.

Love to see a dozen+voyagers new molds for TFP & Generations in 2013. I think Shockwave deserves a Voyager new mold. Here's hoping TFP Does a voyager sized Shockwave that transforms in a space laser gun.

Love to see the generations/FOC toy line do some leader sized toys & $27 USA ultra sized toys. Love to see FOC Leader sized Metroplex & FOC Leader sized Omega Supreme. A G-1 styled Galvatron that transforms in a laser canon at the leader size level would be pure heaven.
