Hasbro's Comic-Con prices a ripoff!

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Here's some pics of the SDCC version in hand, tranformed and from various angles. Interesting things to note: Apparently all four of the "limbots" are able to be either arms or legs and have the parts appropriate (Brawl specifically is shown in both configurations). Vortex is also able to be either a left or a right arm.

The merge form looks more impressive than earlier pictures led mt to think it would. Onslaught is consistent with what JT was talking about though. It looks unfinished. Brawl is a bit of a let down. Swindle looks pretty good. Truth be told, I like the colours on retail Blast-Off better than the convention toy. But, the retail variant really should be accurate to the game.
