Ancillary, non-main-line stuff. Star Wars TF, Speed Stars, Titanium Series, Robot Heroes, that sort of thing. They're kinda neat, but we all know they're not really that important. Admit it, you know it's true.
I don't believe it, no. It's possible he might have a "working" headphone jack that will actually accept (non-included) real headphones...but I doubt it. The original Microchange and Japanese releases had a fake headset you could plug in, which was probably removed from the Hasbro release because you don't want kids roleplaying with bad guys like that.

It is a really nice looking figure. Though definitely going to wait for the Hasbro version myself since $200 seems ridiculous. Especially if he's only comes with the one cassette. Hopefully the Hasbro release will come with more than just Laserbeak. I don't understand why, if he can hold up to 3 cassettes, Takara-Tomy would release the others separately.
