"At Mount Zoomer" by Wolf Parade. Errm, relatively new. Now that I've heard how nice the new album is, I'm really kicking myself for not stepping up and paying the money to see them this summer.

La Femme Chinoise by Yellow Magic Orchestra.

Today was the first day of school and I'm taking my third year of Japanese. When the teacher asked if we stayed in touch with any Japanese culture over the summer, she was really shocked to find out I listen to YMO.

On another note, I may have just invented a new dish. "Fillet Maximilian" has a nice ring to it.

Maximum The Hormone. For I, too, am the boo that is weea.

They do successfully combine more disparate genres than most bands I've heard recently (especially Koi no Megalover, that's a fierce piece).

"Intermission" from the Quake soundtrack. At least, I think that's what it's called. It's the second one. The Quake tracks weren't labelled, so fans came up with names instead--mostly based on the levels--and different downloads will have them labelled differently, so yeah. It's the second one.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Viva Las Vegas, Elvis Presley, part of my Near-Random playlist. Now it's Knock Me Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers. Now I had to skip through a bunch of RHCP and B-52s, I forgot how much I don't like most of the songs on the albums I own, and how WMP shuffles to the same album too much. Now it's Born Under a Bad Sign, from Simpsons Sing The Blues. Private Idaho, B-52s. And then I switched playlists to Metal Punk, playing now is Deliver Us to Evil, Exodus. This is what I get for not staying caught up reading this thread.

That is one of the best things I've ever heard! Very awesome!

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

"Many Shades of Black" by The Raucentours. I so misspelled their name. Bad me.

Come to think of it, a heavy metal starwars band called The Rancors would be pretty sweet. Isn't there already a Klingon heavy metal band?
