It's all good. It's not like I'm not enjoying what you sent me, after all, I've already downed more than half the jar.

Looks like these Minicons were part of the Universe K-Mart 12-pack:

Picked up RTS Perceptor, because while he might not be all that great, I'm sure he's worth seven bucks. And a Solar Storm Grappel for ten bucks? Again, might as well. It felt a little excessive, picking up both of those at once, but at those prices, why not, right? Right.
Totally worth it. Perceptor is cool, I don't know what everyone's bitching about. Give him Blurr's rifle, it looks awesome.
Tried this today, it sort of half-ass works. I can get it into Perceptor's hands just fine, but it just sort of fits in there real floppy-like. Which, I guess, sort of fits with the rest of Perceptor, really.

The opening credits are different and shorter than all my taped off-air episodes from years ago. I wonder why? Otherwise, it's nice to see these episodes again, and with good crisp picture and sound.
Shorter howso? I seem to remember there being a "short" and "long" intro for the first season; dunno about the second and third season but I seem to remember the episode intros getting...almost progressively shorter as the series wore on.

ShockTrek, do the Minicons have names or anything? I'm curious.
The sync is a little off, but this looks like the DVD intro: http://youtu.be/HvLwZHMM-rM

Here's the one I remember from syndication: http://youtu.be/1FKpU0pnne8

I prefer the longer version myself.

Yeah, use his other hand to stabilize it. It looks awesome when done right.

Man, I hit up a Wal-Mart at ten last night to see what a Black Friday thing was all about, and I tell you, I am NEVER doing that again. Fortunately, all the metal and punk rock shows I've been too prepared me for what the inside of that place was like; basically a pit without the cool music. Couldn't find a damn thing I wanted and tried again after work today.

So I did find the last PCCs I wanted. Got Heavytread packed with Steamhammer and the Constructicons (already had the Constructicons, but kicked 'em over Dom's way), and Spastic and the Stunticons packed with Sledge. Already have Sledge, too, of course. Dunno what to do with him.

Haven't opened either, yet, but I did peel all the "Over-Run" sticker's off of Spastic's box. I haven't really gone for repaints in this line before, but a Drag Strip themed repaint of a really nice mold? With a goofy name, to boot? Yeah, getting that.

Aw man, were there any Dinobots packs left? My Wal-Mart had none, but they had Heavytread stuck onto the Rallybots, so I bought that one (I've already got the Rallybots, they're going to Toys For Tots or something). Heavytread's pretty cool, he's Brawl-tacular.

Didn't see one when I was there earlier, but if there's any left and I spot one, I'll let you know. Meantime, I'd be willing to give you five bucks for the Double-Clutch/Rallybots set.

So made another, slightly bigger haul tonight. I was after that PS3 bundle that everywhere had last night, but since I couldn't get around Wal-Mart, and had to get up at five in the morning for work, I missed out on most of the Black Friday stuff. I figured "Hey, this bundle's everywhere, it shouldn't disappear too quick, right?" Hell no, dead wrong. So my girlfriend gets concerned that I'll miss out on it, and she starts calling all the stores near my work to see if they've got it. She finds a Best Buy close to me that has ten of 'em, and tells me to get the hell over there when I get off. I get the hell over there, just in time to completely miss out. Now, at this point I go around to a Wal-Mart and a Target to check, and get met with derision and scorn from the employees. Normally, I'd be more cross, but I figure fuck it, they're retail clerks working on Black Friday, clearly their lives have gone horribly wrong, let 'em have this moment of fun. So while I'm striking out, she keeps calling stores, and calling me back to tell me that pretty much everywhere is out of these PS3s. Then however, she goes online and finds out that Sear's website has exactly one of these bundles left for store pickup. She bought the hell out of it, and that's why I just got home with a PS3. And Ratchet and Clank and Little Big Planet 2 to go with it. For two hundred bucks? Yeah, I'll take it. Kind of nice getting what seems to be the last damn one in the city, too. Tell you what, guys, my girl's pretty much awesome.

Oh, wow. Heavytread is pretty nice. Robot mode does look a lot like Brawl. Tank mode's decent, but I'm having some trouble getting the legs to stay connected with the front of the tank. Prowl, you having trouble with this? But man, oh, man. Heavytread really shines in torso mode, especially if you hook him up to the Combaticons. He looks fantastic, and really makes me wonder what might have been had this line continued awhile longer. Between this guy and Undertow, I'm all into the PCCs again. And I just put 'em into storage for awhile a couple months back.
