Generations: Back in November!

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Generations: Back in November!

Post by 138 Scourge »

Title of the thread says it all, really...

I dunno about Black Shadow, I wasn't nuts about the Thunderwing mold in the first place, so I dunno about this version. Have to see, I guess. But I'm in for some Junkions. And there's more Warpath, Wheeljack, and Kup for anyone that missed 'em before.

Now, if we can get Rumble and Frenzy in this line. And maybe a repaint of the G2 Prime as Toxitron...

Those repacks are promising, not just because it's nice that people who missed those Deluxes in these dry days will get another shot at 'em, but because it hints that Hasbro wouldn't be above also re-releasing, say, Windcharger and Rumble/Frenzy. Fingers crossed!

I liked Thunderwing more than most, and Black Shadow has the potential for a pretty cool-looking color scheme, so I'll probably be down for it. Ditton on Junkion, if only so I can fully enjoy the 'riding himself' gimmick built into the mold.

Thundercracker was, and it seems will remain, scarce though.

Windcharger was a Scout. And, that price-point does not exist any more. And, even if they do release the mould, what is to stop them from doing something stupid like recolouring it as Tailgate? (Tailgate is nice and all. But, you know what I mean.)

Still, Junkions and Rumble/Frenzy are something to look forward.

I'm really looking forward to owning Black Shadow. It's the Junkion I'm not really sure I want.

Color me your opposite then. If I see an extra Shadow, I will pick it up for you.

And as for Thundercracker, I still have the Generations one for sale if anyone wants it. Or the Henkei one as well.
