Who would you like to see in Animated?

Some cartoon with big chins and a little girl that got beloved by fans and taken off TV to make way for a different show on another network. Yeah, that's fair.

Who would you like to see in Animated?

Post by Misanthrope Prime »

The topic's pretty damn descriptive. Who would you like to see in Animated?

Personally, I want to see Dead End. A nihilist in such a bright, cartoony, big chinned world would just be priceless. I somehow imagined him one night with having some kind of teleporter to tie into his name, taking him through a void.

I also had the idea of Alpha Trion being co-ruler of Cybertron, along with Magnus, and he transforms into a popemobile. Yes, a popemobile. The glass canopy turns into his cape.

Oh! And I'd love to see a pair of transformers that are a parody of the Victory, Zone and Brave series. Gaudy, unrealistic altmodes, super idealistic, a real parody of the super robot genre. Perhaps they combine and Optimus Prime points out the 'super booties'.

I'd give my eyeteeth (whatever those are) for an Animated Scourge, but I'm not sure exactly what he'd be for, since Lockdown's already got the "hunter/tracker" thing going on for him.

Also, I wouldn't mind, say, if they could do a shot of several Decepticon generals, where they could work in at least cameos of some of the better-loved Decepticons. Something like that's the best shot I'd have of seeing Animated Snaptrap/Seacons, I figure.

Scourge as in your namesake, being a spaceboat with a beard, or Scourge as in an evil Optimus Prime? Frankly, we have Sentinel/Longarm prime as 'evil primes', we don' t need a BLACK REPAINT.

Do you think we could have, like, Devastator, Predaking and their ilk, INSTEAD of their individual components, be the decepticon Generals? I WOULD like to see the various political heirarchies of the Autobot and Decepticon forces, for some reason, I envision the autobots as much more bureaucratic with a decentralized leadership, while the decepticons, obviously, bow to the emperor of destruction.

Yeah, I'd pass on a black Prime, myself. No, I meant the fella over there. -->

You know he'd look cool in an Animated style.

And yeah, seeing more of the Autobot/Decepticon armies in general would be great. And y'know, while I wasn't trying for a Zone reference there with the "generals" comment, I'd be okay with it, too. Devastator, f'rinstance, doesn't seem like he's gonna be a Constructicon Gestalt this time around, anyhow.

Perhaps we can see something done with Starscream's seekers being turned into Scourge.

I'd rather see some more original characters, rather than more G1 rehashes. Animated has plenty of those, already.

Yeah, this too. Bulkhead and Prowl are awesome, same with Lugnut and Oil Slick. More like that couldn't be a bad idea.

Motormaster, with a voice like his Five Faces of Darkness one (Roger C. Carmel, I think?). A hugely OTT, almost religious-prophetic, trucker warlord. Sgt. Hatred and Truckules' love-child.

Dogfight, because the Autobots need a flyer, and his shoulderguns are cool, AND they could actually SHOW his "cutting through other aircraft with his wings" thing. And the name Dogfight surely hasn't been copyrighted by someone else...

Kup.

What I DON'T want to see in Animated: Unicron, Galvatron, Hot Rod / Rodimus Prime, the Matrix, the Swarm, combining Dinobots, or 'goth', 'hip hop', or 'geek'-coded TFs. The female Screamer clone is treading a THIN EFFING LINE. Jesus they need more than two female voice actors.
COME TO TFVIEWS oh you already did

I mentioned this to ChaosDeathSaurer on DA a while back: I think Movie Barricade would be awesome in Animated. They'd have to do some serious redesigning on his robot mode, of course, but they could keep the spirit of it. And the thought of an evil cop character blending in/giving a bad name to all those Autobot sirens makes me grin.

Ask Richard Patrick, he'll tell you in Trip Like I Do. Mmm, Spawn soundtrack.
