Aw, you don't hate your life. You have a girlfriend! And a job (possibly two)! Car trouble's not the end of the world, chin up!
What Prowl said. Just remember, you could be me.

It turns out the car might be salvagable. So, we'll see.

Hey, BustaJesse, good to see you back. (No, seriously. That is something of a suprise actually.)

O6, I love the ambiguity about your care maybe having blown up.

And, my anti-haul: pitched a pile of comics and toys to Robozone.

Found Cyberverse Flak and Roadbuster at a Target. Flak's just okay, but Roadbuster's great. Love the flip-out saw, and he looks terrific. Better than the Deluxe toy, in my opinion. Anyway, I also found the Power Rangers Samurai Rita Repulsa toy! It is...not the best toy in the world, mainly because of the derpy face sculpt/paint, though on the other hand, they did go the extra mile and put paint on her staff, and actually sculpted full legs under her dress. Plus she's got bicep swivels, which at least makes her stand out in that regard compared to all the other 4in PR toys that have been made in the last few years. Plus it's just nice to have Zedd's better half. Having them on display together along with the Putty is almost enough to make me wish I'd also gotten Goldar. Almost.

Then I went to another Target and somehow, against all odds, purchased a $29.99 ROTF Human Alliance Leadfoot. The crazy people working at this store not only had it on the shelf tagged for purchase, but when I took it to the checkout, they actually let me buy it! Madness, I know, but somehow, it worked, and I was able to get a $29.99 ROTF Human Alliance Leadfoot toy! PS despite all the negative stuff I'd already heard about it, I actually really like this toy. Steeljaw is adorable.

Flak? Who's Flak? *looks* Oh, fuck yeah, Flak looks awesome. Kind of would like a different colour scheme on him, but that's a fine mould.

Goldar was terrible. Nobody should have bought that. I would have sooner tracked down an 'old' Goldar figure and displayed him next to them. (Hey, it could work.) The Samurai stuff around here is barely even existent so I'm barely looking. They still only $5?

I love you. No homo.

Eh, like I said, he's just okay. His arms can't straighten past 90 degrees, and his legs are rather blocked by the chunk of kibble jutting back between them. And yeah, the color scheme is pretty blah. But I do like his design, and his turret-swiveling transformation trick. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from the toy, it is just a Legends figure.

Like I said, almost. Goldar was just really really terrible. :| I'm kind of amazed Zedd and the Putty turned out as decent as they did, after how shitty Goldar was. I daresay Bandai owes us *another* new, non-shitty Goldar toy.

The PRS figures are like six-and-a-half bucks at Target here, which is a bit steep, but I'm only buying a couple of them. I grabbed Rita because she was there, which she isn't wont to do too often, and she's going for at least like twenty bucks online.

Seriously, if I'd somehow caved and ordered this toy for online prices, I would've been *pissed* once I got it in hand. But for six bucks, fuck yeah Rita Repulsa toy? Sure.

I still maintain we should have an awards ceremony. This has gotta be in the nominees for Post of the Arbitrary Timespan.

The thing I find funny is that Prowl managed to find and purchase a ROTF HA Leadfoot and not a DOTM one. :P
