It's implied that at least a few months have passed inbetween MTMTE and Transport To Oblivion, at least....Y'know, the early episodes of G1 must've covered a loooong time, since the Decepticons build the Space Bridge almost immediately after the Full crashes. They may as well not have bothered. Once the Space Bridge was fixed to transport Transformers safely, why didn't the Decepticons just flee through it, leaving a time bomb at the other end? Pfft.
Also, why would they do that? Megatron basically says, the moment he steps out of the Ark in the first episode, "Fuck Cybertron, this world has tons of resources and will also be hella fun to conquer."
