The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Sorry,I not a full member here, more of a part time member. like batman is to the justice league.
I currently post on 3 different TF related message boards. So I can't be everywhere at once.
If you want me to discuss your views,Then I'll do so in a polite manner.

Hasbro/Takara isn't about to create a new mold poseable toy for the fan catered toy lines like generations/rts/classics/? because it would have to be at least a $27 ultra or leader sized. currently the fan catered toy budget money, resources & retail support is on their.
for deluxe sized toys.
Their is no way hasbro/takara can squeeze a 6 changer toy into a tiny deluxe or voyager sized TF toy.

I've posted in a few of your "Would you buy this concept" threads now, and almost every time your second post has essentially just been you expanding on your first one, and not really taking into account anything anyone else has said.
You even suddenly brought up TF Prime when no one else had mentioned it, and went off on a tangent about that. It's like Anderson and I were having our own little conversation, when in fact we raised some legit points. Don't you have any thoughts on what we said about Sixshot not being a popular enough character in the west, or on how I personally asked you how difficult it would be to create a realistic sixchanger...?
It's just kinda galling to be overtly asked your opinion and then have it ignored.
TF Prime being mentioned wasn't off-topic. because for the 3rd/4th quarters of 2011 & the whole 2012 year, the TF toy lines will be dominated by DOTM,Prime & some sort of fan catered toy line.
As far as 1987 Sixshot not being a popular USA toy/character. I disagree with that. I grew up in the 1980's & sixhot was the last & greatest TF popular character before everyone lost interest in the TF toy line.

RID Megatron would disagree with you there.
and the Rid megatron toys 6 alt modes look worse & less reconizable than 1987 Sixshots.
Do we all want a awful/horrible attempt at a new mold sixshot toy in the voyager size. just to save a few bucks in our wallets.
or do we all want hasbro/takara to create the best sixshot new mold toy they can in a bigger size level?
personally I don't mind shelling out the extra cash to get a TF toy that's well made.
I refuse to shell out money for TF toys that have tons of short cuts & budget cuts everywhere.
I grew up in 80's as well and I don't remember once anyone mentioning that they wanted Sixshot or thinking his character was all that great. And really, I think multichangers are where it starts to get ridiculous. Triple changers can barely be pulled off very well and G1 Sixshot was just a mess. No particular alt mode looked like anything other than like three vehicles frankenstiened together. RID Megatron was little better with all of the alt modes stemming from the design of the robot. Almost like saying "Hey, what else can we make out of this?" So yeah, no sixshot for me. I'd rather have a Diaclone colored Bluestreak.

Gonna have to agree with Shockwave here, I really never saw any evidence of this back in the day. Guess it's just a matter of hanging out in different circles.

Well that's hardly an excuse, you're at least as active as I am, and you can't expect to start a thread full of questions and concepts and not expect people to want to talk about them. If you only want light conversation, bring up less complex ideas.
I mean, really, do you think a sixchanger with six convincing modes is even possible? I'm paid to be imaginative, and I'm having trouble with that one.

They would be far more likely to create a Sixshot figure for the fan catered line than the Masterpiece line, all things considered. And I don't see that it would have to be ultra/leader class toy. I think they could make a decent Sixshot in the Voyager class personally.

Sir,you have over 1100 post under your belt & I only have a meager mere 81. I hardly call us equals as far as part time posters are concerned here on this message board.

Different strokes for different folks. what some might think of as not popular, others might think of as popular.
I think a decent Sixshot repaint can be created using the Rid Megatron toy. all that has to be done is create a new robot head sculpt.
