United Stepper

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

It'll have been the second year since. I dunno, we'll see. (Maybe they'll use some Grapple parts with him instead.)

I can see them holding to the "do not re-use moulding" rule, even when it would make sense to ignore it. Remember, the decisions about exclusives are influenced not only by Hasbro, but by a guy who is a "GI Joe" fan at heart, (and thus *very* uncomfortable with flexbility), and some fo the more....erm...stereotypical fans.

But the good news is that it means that I am unlikely to have to buy an expensive FanClub/BotCon Voyager figure, so hey....

Stickers.) That severely bumps down my want for him as that just makes him one step above a custom with Reprolabels (which you KNOW they're going to make).

I'd rather track down another Jazz and custom his ass with dye. (How easy is it to dye white plastic black?)
06,from my personal experiences with "RIT" color dye. It all depends upon the plastic Takara/Hasbro uses on a certain TF toy. any TF toy with a plastic that has a high gloss added to it,will not color dye as well.

I honestly think some parts on RTS Jazz won't rit color dye well. due to the fact jazz has clear vechicle windows. those parts surronding the clear windows like the doors, hood won't rit color dye. because the white color is factory colored paint over the clear parts.

I have a question & then a comment on the stepper toy.

First, the question. Is that Classic 2.0 Cyclonus's targetmaster their using with the $119 Stepper toy? i'm 100% positive it is as their are no other recent targetmaster toys to use. it doesn't look like any PCC targetmaster minicon toy.

Now the Comment. Personally for me That $119 Price seems a bit steep & high for what your actually getting. the toy itself is only deluxe size & around 5 inches tall in robot mode.

If I wanted the toy & I don't,I'd be more inclined to have some patience, play the waiting game & see if hasbro releases the stepper toy in America. paying $11 seems leaps & bounds better than paying $119.

I have had it up to here with your facts and logic Tiger Megatron! :)

Joking aside, I have no faith that Hasbro will actually release Ricochet. They might. They might not. Is it sane or rational or healthy to buy a $120 figure on the basis that there probably will not be one available in the US? No. No. And, no.

But, you know what else is crazy? Do you? Taking shirtless picktures of myself wearing Christmas ribbons and sending those pictures as holiday greetings.

Does any of that have anything to do with RicoStepper? No. But, I am not really trying to bring facts and logic to a thread where we are seriously considering paying $120 for an imported recolour of an middling mould as an obscure characters.

That said, yes good sir, it does in fact appear to be the 2008 Nightstick mould that is packaged with Ricochet.

Still don't know where you guys are calling Jazz "middling," I haven't had a single problem with mine.

Well personally, I don't like the way the legs look, the door-wings bug the shit out of me, and his face-sculpt is too frowny. And the vehicle mode has those unsightly panel dents in the hood and no paint on the back window. And the chest doesn't lock down.

While some think the RTS Jazz toy has it's minuses/flaws. fact is, it's thus far the best updated homage new mold we have of Jazz based off the 1984 cartoon/toy Jazz designs. other recent/older newer toys to bear the Jazz name were worse as far as trying to look like the 1984 character in both modes & colors.

Eh, I kind of think Prowl just got a bad copy. Course, yours is one of the later ones from the run so they may have tweaked things a bit, but mine was one of the first and I personally didn't have any problems with it.
