problem with the comics

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Yeah, I don't buy intentional mistakes for a second. And even if they are, that's bad practice, as Dom points out.
COME TO TFVIEWS oh you already did

It might be intentional mistakes as part of game theory, (testing how lazy they can get away with being). But it is still bad practice.

Motormaster: "Somewhere between Skywarp and Shockwave?"
Prowl: "That's right. Now this is just a warning but you get the paint job fixed alright?"
Motormaster: "Yes sir!"
This is actually the kind of TF story I'd write were I in charge. Just a warning.

"I don't get why WE can't call them Decepticreeps! They call EACH OTHER Decepticreeps!! That's prejudice!!"
Y'know, this whole concept could be an interesting new take on TFs. If done properly and tastefully. Given the franchise's history though, I wouldn't bet on it.

It already has been touched on though. Look at certain file cards, (SDCC Blaster or RTS Mindset). Hell, BW touched on it with "Better dead than Pred."

BW kinda hinted at it at best. Cheetor's comment could have just been interpreted as more of a patriotic comment than on of racism against Predacons. Megatron more than anyone in BW suggests that the remaining Decepticons became 2nd class citizens after G1. That Mirrorverse fan site (which later spawned "Shattered Glass") had something that kind of similar, but it was just straight out enslavement of the Decepticons by the Autobots. I guess I just think a lot could be done with the concept of showing a post G1 Cybertron/Earth with the Cybertronians in peace time with the Decepticons being 2nd class citizens, facing harassment and discrimination and seeing how the various Cons deal with it. I also think such stories would require the complete lack of either Megatron or Starscream.

86 and I used to write 'tons' of stuff that took place during BW, the Pax Cybertronia. We just assumed that most TFs were BW-sized but...still turned into vehicles. We didn't think about it too much, I guess. We focused on the stories themselves. :P

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Then you should write for the fan club. It's bound to be way better than the constant barrage of comics that amount to nothing more than "OMG It's the overhyped character/team of the year of the week!!". Ugh. And it's certainly bound to be far better than anything David fucking Willis can come up with.

I hope you're looking forward to endless stories about the Animated Stunticons in the near future!

Recordicons just keeps getting worse, eh? I'm increasingly glad I didn't plunk down forty bucks for the right to read this stuff. I'll just middleman a Ramjet.
