Re: SDCC animated news
Can't be too much of a minority, I've been looking forward to Swindle since I saw 'SUV'. My only gripe is that he's a friggin' Deluxe, but Hasbro seems to be doing that to a lot of my favorites who deserve bigger *coughsentinelprimecough* so I guess I can't be too surprised. At least his toy does look cool. For a Deluxe.

A Deluxe with a chaingun!
More Deluxes should have chainguns. Like, all of them. Mmyeah.

It looks... okay, not enough to make me buy a second one.

I'm buying it. To cannibalize onto the Lockdown I have now. Hey, a guy's gotta get his upgrades somewhere, right?

MADNESS! MADNESS!
I dunno, he'd look goofy with two of those prosthetic arms. Like Popeye.

Between that hook and the saw, he'd better damn well be able to get the can of spinach open.

Heh, he almost has a Popeye chin, too. And he'd look aces with a corncob pipe and sailor hat. Scourge, draw this now.
I dunlike the repaint, it's kinda meh and not drastically different enough to impress. The chainsaw's alright, new parts are always appreciated, and it'll be a great move if they fix the mould's assorted issues. Happy with the Lockdown I have, tho'.

Re: SDCC animated news
I'm wicked torn on that Lockdown. On the one hand (literally) he has a chainsaw. I was JUST SAYING that TFs needed more chainsaws. On the other hand, the deco, while nice enough, really doesn't seem different enough to justify a purchase (His base color is still black for Cod's sakes!). I dunno, depends on my mood when I see him in person, and how much disposable income I've got on me at the time...

A nice dark blue or something would have worked with the gold. Or go completely crazy and do white and gold.
I can't say I'm wild about the bio on that thing, though. While I could see Lockdown looking for some form of "exotic energy" (Animated Nucleon?), his character here seems to be, like crazier Sunstorm. Half the appeal of that character to me is the calm and businesslike way he does things.
And, I'll give Lockdown the Sailor Man a shot, since it sounds funny and I love me some Popeye.
