And, because it was addressed to my screen name, I cannot pick it up at the Post Office. (Of course, I could sign for it with no ID in front of the building, but whatever.)

What time? Mine is open till 7 weekdays, and open Saturdays. Not that it matters to you, since you can't get it out of jail with your username.

That would have worked on delivery, but not on yellow-tag pickups because they can't prove it is actually going to the right person, and somehow that makes a difference. If he gets a lazy worker, it'll pan out in his favor, but if he gets a diligent one it's screwed.
