Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.
So I assume everyone here has seen that Shockwave is confirmed to be the main villain in 3? And if not, hey, the thread's not titled "Spoilerific" for nothing.
I predict that 3 will open with Shockwave killing Megatron, takes over Decepticons, kills the Autobots, enslaves the Earth and creates another Cybertron. Series over.
While I don't think they'll go as extreme as Trekkie suggests, the least they could do is give us a movie poster with Shockwave homaging Marvel Transformers #5. That just seems like an obvious move.
So I wonder how they'll design ole' Shockwave, if he is the villain? We can't be lucky enough to get the giant floating laser pistol of doom. We have gotten sci-fi vehicles in the past, so maybe we'll at least get something Cybertronian rather than another tank.
Screw that, man. For one of the video game designs, that was pretty sweet, but I'd much rather see something badass.
Maybe we'll get something like Hearts of Steel Shockwave, a huge boat. Remember that Tidal Wave and Jetfire in Armada were implied to be Shockwave and Jetfire counterparts--just look at that one sequence where it briefly shows their Cybertronian modes. Jetfire's looks like a Valkyrie (or was it like Skyfire, I don't remember?) and Tidal Wave's definitely looks like if Shockwave's altmode was a boat.
Or we'll get something like the awesome Transtech design I always loved.
