Skywarp!

Some cartoon with big chins and a little girl that got beloved by fans and taken off TV to make way for a different show on another network. Yeah, that's fair.

Skywarp!

Post by 138 Scourge »

While this isn't what you'd call "news" it is the first pictures of Animated Skywarp's toy that I've seen, anyhow. And man, he's kinda purty. The black and purple looks really nice.

Now, if only Ramjet was getting the treatment at this size.

And he's...being released in Universe? Careful where you post things dude!

Still, looks slick. Might pick it up, depending. I'm hoping for Sunstorm myself. Also:

Fun with watermarks. Couldn't resist.

Oops. Damn, how'd I manage that?

I dunno, how many repaints you think they'll go with for this mold? I figure three's a safe bet, and probably a couple Activator repaints, so most of the clones could get a figure.

He shall be repainted as The Monarch by yours truly if I can get him. That chin-grin!

See, that's one thing. For this to truly work as Animated Skywarp, they'll have to remold his face. He needs to look terrified!

Moved!

Skywarp. Ehhn. Not that it's bad, just that it was cooler when Armada did it in 2002.

Armada's Skywarp was cool enough for us to use it in Ethereal, though.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

The colors are nice, but the way the grey paint doesn't go right up to his eyes and the way the edge is very ragged and uneven bugs me.
Like he's low on sleep or is wearing goth makeup or something.
You been Warp'd!!!

IIRC, isn't this an early proto--perhaps even handpainted?
