Takara-Tomy staff interview from Generations 2009

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

Indeed. But they're busy off designing toys, so!

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

I especially like how Sideways is his designer's favourite. And how the other guy bitches that the first guy gave him a lot to live up to after making AllianceBee so awesome.

Also, I now want Gravity Bots Barricade.

Yes, and the disappointment that Sideways dies like a bitch. "All that work for nothing!"

It's sad that such a good toy hung on pegs for so long, too...

He didn't shelfwarm here at all, funnily enough. Nothing really has, except the metric tons of Soundwave and PreviewBee, and all the Mixmasters. Be hard pressed to find a Sideways now, Dead End went even faster.
