Comingsoon.net revealed today that the 5th Transformers film will be titled "Transformers: The Last Knight".

In casting news...
Of course returning is Mark Wahlberg. Josh Duhamel is also returning as William Lennox after his absence in the last film. New to the franchise is Isabela Moner, who will be playing the new female lead. Reportedly Michael Bay would like Tyrese Gibson, although it has yet to be confirmed. And Jerrod Carmichael is rumored be in talks to appear in the film as well.

I wonder who "the last knight" would be? Optimus Prime? Seems like it would be someone else though. I wish there was a way to get the story off of Earth, but I don't think that's going to happen.

And apparently Megatron is back...

Bay is an idiot and I doubt he'll be called Megatron in the final film because if Hasbro is smart they won't fucking let him do that. Bay has a tendency to just refer to Decepticons by whatever name suits him at the time and ignore what Hasbro says--which is mindboggling in the age of Marvel or even DC films that are about 95% true to the source material.

Also, Sir Anthony Hopkins will be in Transformers 5.

Why make the same movie 4 times when you can make it 5 times?

I hope somewhere deep inside Michael Bay, there's a tiny part of him that's miserable with all of this, being an artistically bankrupt Hollywood hack.
