(spoilers) WalMart Sneek Peek @ TF2: Revenge of the Fallen

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

Thanks for posting the password!

Looks like the first shot filmed involves Arcee and (possible) Hot Rod.

The CGI video would have been better without the music.

Blargh, don't throw around arbitrary names attached to these cars, dude. "That one looks like Hot Rod!" "I bet that one's Wheeljack!"

For all we know they're entirely new characters named Steelblazer and Hailstorm.

I am pinning this thread. I added a spoiler warning to the first post, just to be on the safe side.

Which is why I put (possibly) in front of Hot Rod.

Steelblazer and Hailstorm are cool names though.

Hailstorm is cool. Steelblazer is not.

I only like names that make sense. X]

I wonder who names the Movieverse TFs...? I hope it's Michael Bay, and he starts exerting more creative control, so TF3 has an original character called XTREMEOBOT who can turn into ANYTHING.

...Yeah, Steelblazer... Blazing... steel...? Idon'tgetit.

Because names like "Trailbreaker" and "Starscream" make sense.

One of the leaked call sheets as I recall was calling one of them "Stinger". Of course that could have just been a place holder name or some such until a final name is established...

Trailbreaker and Starscream are MUCH more artistically evocative than Steelblazer. Maybe that's just my opinion. But, to put it in reasonable terms, the first two names use a Noun-Verb structure. Last time I checked, the only thing one can actively "blaze" is a "j".

Get my 90s drug lingo.

Also, Trails can be Broken, Stars can Scream (comets!), but... Steel blazing? That's just Simon Bisley Heavy Metal Julie Bell silliness.
