I suspect that Terrorsaur was intended for general release. But, with the reported supply/shipping disruptions in most sectors of the economy, Hasbro might be shifting product to Pulse or Selects. This actually helps collectors get the toys, even if the package media is terrible.

I didn't get to Terrorsaur before the pre-orders sold out, so I don't get one, I guess; and since I'm not going to be able to get all the BW characters, then I might as well skip a few more that I was otherwise going to get.

Yeah, given what Hasbro did with Earthrise Prowl, Ironhide, Ratchet and the seekers, I wouldn't count on retail releases for any of these. And I'm pretty sure Puffer is the only version of Pipes that we're going to get. All of this makes me glad I'm not collecting anymore (for the most part). The only one I'm considering is Tigatron and that's only really because my wife really loves tigers. Speaking of, what happened to the main retail release of Tigatron? I've never seen it anywhere, even for preorder and now it's like there's no trace of it's existence anywhere. It's not even on ebay. WTF?

I do not think that the retail release of Tigatron has shipped yet. (Based on BBTS listings.)

And, confirmed on BBTS, there is going to be a retail release of Pipes. This is good news for fans of Pipes, but just makes Puffer even less excusable. (A blue exclusive recolor of a blue mass retail figure, with a really stupid back-story?

I couldn't even find Tigatron on BBTS. Or on Amazon or anywhere else. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Good news about Pipes though. But I also think that's likely to hurt sales of the Puffer set, because who else is going to want the other figure? I mean, a few people will, but I think most people will wait for mainline Pipes to get him rather than jump through extra hoops to get this set.

It has a listing on BBTS. I just searched for "Tigatron" and it was the only thing to come up. Amazon doesn't currently have a listing for it, but some sites do have a preorder listing for it.

Not sure when it's supposed to be out. BBTS says it's expected to be released this month. Another site says November, another says January... At any rate, it's not out yet.

Yeah I found it on BBTS after I was on here yesterday. But last week I was on there and couldn't find it at all. And last time I check Hasbro Pulse, it wasn't on there either.

Oh well. Whatever. I might preorder it. Maybe. Or just take my chances finding it in the wild.

Surprised to see Target had some new figures today...

Waspinator - Didn't really like the look of this figure when it was first revealed. It's a lot better in person. I do kinda wish the one wasp leg on his arms was switched with the two on his legs. It'd be a tad more show accurate. And they could have done a little more with his stinger gun. There is some (unpainted) detail on the bottom revealing the stinger to be a missile. But it mostly looks like he's just holding a section of the abdomen rather than a gun hidden as part of the abdomen. The robot mode waist I think could have been done a little better as well. There's a tab that slides back to hold it in place. For the most part it works, but it can come loose sometimes while trying to pose the figure. I'd mostly call these nitpicks though. Overall, I think it's a pretty good figure, and is a good representation of Waspinator.

Tracks - Another figure I wasn't expecting much of, but I was surprised by the amount of articulation it has just trying to get it out of the packaging. It's a pretty good version of Tracks. The only downside I have with it is the backpack. Save for the front of his vehicle mode, it's practically a shell of the car. The front windshield section does fold up behind the roof, but it still looks like he's got half a car on his back.

I saw Tracks at Target. I passed because I'm no longer doing TFs in that Scale (save for the Beast Wars characters). If I were still in, I probably would have got him... maybe. The killer for me is the feet. I've seen reviews online that show that they don't really connect very well to the rest of the figure and don't really lock very well in alt mode either.

The facade chest on Tracks killed in for me.

I saw Scorponok at Walgreens. I skipped it. But, but it reminded me of how much I like the robot mode design for that character.
