Transformers Kingdom

Some possible first looks at figures for the next Transformers toyline in the War for Cybertron trilogy have begun to pop up online...

A couple of looks at a new Rattrap figure.

Cheetor, Blackarachnia and Warpath.

So barring official confirmation from Hasbro on these figures... I'm really liking the new Cheetor figure. It's so much better than the Universe figure they made back in 2008. But kinda wish they'd given him a weapon like he had in that form, rather than a tail whip like his Transmetal form. Rattrap also looks pretty good, although is absolutely tiny, seeing the comparison next to his 2014 Generations figure. They only show the robot mode of Blacharachnia, which looks amazing. Although, I'm curious to see the beast mode, since even the Masterpiece figure couldn't really hide the robot mode legs very well...

Rattrap seems like a cross between the original and the Generations version. And the Generations version looks way better. Better articulation, detail, paint... size. I do like the look of both Cheetor and Blackarachnia, be interesting to see more pics of both.

Rattrap just seems to be a smaller version on his Generations toy, to me, but Blackarachnia and Cheetor look pretty cool. I'm excited for these.

Rattrap has way less articulation and is about half the size. And will probably cost more. This is an easy skip for me. I am interested in the others though.

I'm wondering if Rhinox is just going to be a rerelease of the previous Generations Rhinox. That thing is awesome.

It looks to me like they have about the same amount of articulation in robot mode, but the rat mode of the new figure is essentially a brick. It would have been nice if the front legs was separate pieces, rather than just molded in place. I have to say I like the proportions of the new Rattrap more, the rat head in-particular being scaled down. I'm curious to see how it looks next to some other Beast Wars figures in terms of scale. The Generations figure I felt looked a little too big, but at about half the size, this might be too small...

Other than needing some paint though, I still really like the looks of the new figure.

Some one got their hands on Cheetor and Blackarachnia.

Got to say, these are some impressive looking figures. They did a decent job making them look show accurate (although like the Masterpiece, Blackarachnia doesn't hide the robot mode legs very well, but I kinda think this figure blends them into the beast mode a little better), and also giving them some really good articulation.

These look great and I'm in. Especially for Blackarachnia, she'll make a nice addition to my spider collection. I also like how they made her more accurate to the actual creature she's modelled on. She has all the proper markings for an Australian Red back spider and it looks like they finally made a version of her that can be supported by the spider legs.

Cheetor, Rattrap, BW Megatron and Cyclonus for the Kingdom line have officially been revealed by Hasbro via IGN.

I think Megatron looks like they took a little influence from the Jurassic Park t-rex, particularly with the head. The robot mode looks really faithful to the cartoon, although it looks like he's got more kibble on his back compared to other versions.

Wow. I am really impressed by that Megatron.
