Happy Thanksgiving

Post by Dominic »

I hope that everybody has a quiet weekend. I will be offline for a couple of days. If you have any trades with me, send me a message and I will sort it next week.

Hey, there's no reason to be bitter just because we had a big dinner party to celebrate surviving the first year of our break-up with you. Be happy for us, dangit!

Seriously, happy Turkey Day, everyone.

Actually, Thanksgiving really started after our "troubles" in the mid-1800s. The country needed something to unite around, and we could not afford to pick a fight with another country. So, Thanksgiving became a cheap alternative.

Shutup, man, you get "Piss off, America!" Day.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

That's every day.

I've never been to the States, but if I do, and it's on Thanksgiving, one of you had better make fun of me. Only give me, like, some turkey skin and one stick of broccoli. I'll expect it.

Have a good Thanksgiving, everyone. I'm off to my mom's house to eat way too much and visit with my brothers, grandmother and aunt. Still doesn't feel the same without my dad, but it's still always good for all of us to get together. Wish we did it more often. :)

After Harvest Havoc on Wednesday, was told that I was going for a late dinner/early breakfast with the promoter and a couple of the guys. It was a good time. Got home a bit after midnight. Slept until noon. Took a walk. At something. Read some comics.

Mission accomplished and then some.
