Fancy colors

Post by Ursus mellifera »

I was just wondering, how come some members have fancy colored names?

Is there I way I can get me some of that action?

I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK THIS

ARE YOU ME?

(And more to the point, why are some names different colours? Like, when I see purple, I known Scourge is on. But I'm the same colour as... someone else? I'm sure.)

But...you're one of the guys with the fancy colors!

You don't know how you got them?

I'm one of the longer-serving members here (right?), if that helps.

You and O6 are the same color, but Scourge's appears to be the only purple name.

Long-running member isn't a bad reason, but hasn't Dom been here since forever? His name is normal.

No, he just acts that way.

Pretty sure O6 and I were here a good while before Dom, at least.

...Doesn't the board store this info somewhere? Oh no, 'cos that was BWTF.

Ok, according to that Dom's been around longer than me. But we all know the truth. =p

Ursus, I guess you maybe don't know we all migrated here from the old BWTF.com boards? That was technically where this community started, and Dom was a relative latecomer.

(But, yeah, this still doesn't explain the colours. The colours, my god!! IT'S FULL OF STARS)

I think it's related to post count and "class". I could be wrong though. I know red is Admin (only JT has that one) and green is moderator (I believe both Anderson and O86 have this). As for Scourge's purple, I dunno.

Maybe Scourge requested it specially, like Samuel L. Jackson's lightsabre. It's a bald thing.

Scourge is bald, right?!

it's too late at night to be talking about a guy's hair (sorry scourge)
