What're you listening to?

Post by Onslaught Six »

I'm bored, can you tell?

Currently, I'm watching a bunch of horrible 80s metal videos on VH1 Classic. Right now, it's Cherry Pie. This is the worst song and the worst video ever.

:o This smiley reminds me of the Ouch Face.

Right now? Nothin', 'cause I'm at work. On the way to work? Kingdom, by Devin Townsend. And Pretty When You Cry, by VAST, which I've had stuck in my head for a week and it WON'T GET OUT DAMNIT.

I mentioned I bought a $7 copy of Ozzy's No More Tears album, which is great stuff, and the case was cracked. But this is clearly one of those post-2000 reissue albums, and it has bonus tracks. Among them is this 'really' cool one called Don't Blame Me.

"******* Secretions" by Necro. My friend showed me this guy, and well, a YouTube link would just be inappropriate. But damn his songs are catchy.

Senor Coconut's cover of Rydeen. Compare Yellow Magic Orchestra's original, one of the first and greatest electronica songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk6o4GWFIV8

to Senor Coconut's version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvMSVZ-8DyQ (it gets really good)

Black Fire by Dragonforce. It's the only good Dragonforce song. Typically they just play too fast to make out anything decent, and it's iffy, but the chorus of this one is really cool, and the solo has the Double Dragon theme in it. Awesome.

"Dildo Massacre" by the Parents.

It's every bit as awesome as the title suggests.

"Paper Planes" by M.I.A.

On a related note, The Pineapple Express looks like an awesome movie. Thug Life!
