How do prices on non-toy items compare? With $5 for comics becoming more common (and higher not being unheard of), I am going to be getting pickier.
Beast Man and Man At Arms were both listed at $14.99 leach (retail price) while Trap Jaw and Orko were both listed at $30+. Through Walmart directly, not 3rd party sellers. That is scalping. There's no defending this practice. Amazon is guilty of this too.
The plastic quality also seems to be cheaper with the Amazon exclusives, so they're more flimsy and more expensive, so fuck Amazon.

I've updated my sales thread on TFW with pics of stuff that didn't sell on ebay. Still a lot more to come.

I have an offer on TFW for Dirge and Ramjet for 90 shipped. If anyone here wants to offer more and get them for considerably cheaper than ebay, let me know. I made a counter offer to the person of $120 shipped, which he said he'll consider. I paid $326. but, I've also made money off other figures, which mitigates this to a large extent. If anyone on here wants to fill in this particular gap in their collection, this is a good opportunity. Pics are in the link provided above.

Thanks again, Shockwave, hope the cash has helped make up for the frustrations with the collecting a little.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Are you still able to be paid via Paypal on Ebay? I hadn't used Ebay since February when I was selling stuff to make money to buy all those IDW Transformers volumes, and when I logged on earlier I got a notice that they were doing away with Paypal. I don't particularly want Ebay to have access to my checking account, I have to say.

Nope, they're completely done with Paypal. All money from auctions is sent to my checking account after about 3 days. It's really a pain in the ass.

That seems like a bad call for Ebay. I'm not giving them my checking account info.

Neither am I, and it would be a pain to set up another one just for Ebay use given how infrequently I use Ebay. I was fine with Paypal and would prefer to continue using it. This is bad customer service by Ebay.

Yeah, after this round of purging, I'm done. I think you can still pay for things with paypal, but getting paid is only through Ebay.

This entire thread has made me realize that I've been collecting toys, for a while now, out of habit rather than a desire to actually own, like, 80% of them.

I think I'm done, too. I just look around the basement and want them gone. They don't make me happy anymore.
