Earlier than that, even. In "Coming of the Fuzors" Dinobot Infiltrates the Pred base and confronts Waspy. Together, they both realize that they're on Earth.

That's the Predacons though and, well, Dinobot who was a Predacon and was in on the original plan. But O6 was talking about when the Maximals found out they were on Earth, and Dinobot clearly was keeping that information a secret from them, at least up until the end of "Maximal No More". So the Maximals didn't know that they were on pre-historic Earth until at least that point, while the Predacons had obviously known for longer.
