Re: Questions for Hasbro, round 3
A couple of questions: - The use of "Autobot" or "Decepticon" in front of otherwise unobtainable character names is a great solution that allows a character to retain its original name in some form. For example, since "Jazz" cannot be trademarked on its own, "Autob...

Re: Robot Heroes - general review and comments
I'm just finding more and more that price is becoming the deciding factor on whether or not I really want a figure. And with prices going up across the board, I'm finding it easier to say no to quite a few figures I might otherwise be tempted by. On the other hand, the Wal-Mart sale on deluxe figure...

Re: Robot Heroes - general review and comments
Target had a number of new Robot Heroes today, but I passed on them for the time being. $6.99 for the standard 2-pack was a bit more than I wanted to pay, even though I really want that Ironhide/Kickback set. But think about it... if I'd bought all four new sets, it would have cost me $28 plus tax. ...

I like the rotor gimmick, but I'd like it more if the rotors kept going rather than grinding to a halt every time.Rampage01 wrote:Incinerator is definitely a big one for me. I get far more entertainment out of his rotor gimmick than I have any right to.

Re: TFViews questions for Hasbro, round 2
Some good, informative answers there. Always good to see that they are planning ahead for repaints now, to the point we'll see new heads. That's what really sold me on Stealth Bumblebee for example, so good to see that we'll see more of it.

Re: TRU coupon good 12-9-08
I went and took a look at lunchtime, and though there were plenty of other Transformers on the shelf, including the movie Mudflap repaint and Red Alert repaint, there were no "Ultra Exclusive Vehicles" on the shelf. I did find the empty spot where they had been. TRU must not move much stoc...

Re: December Hauls
Bought the Target two-pack of Roadbuster and Dirge. Who are these guys again? Repaints? They are. Roadbuster is a repaint of Cybertron Defense Hot Shot in G1 Roadbuster's colors. Apart from the face, it's a very appropriate mold for the character, and very well done. Dirge is a repaint of the voyag...

Have a look:

I'm not sure what figure or figures this is good for, but I might just go have a look. "Transformers Exclusive Ultra Vehicle" is what's listed on the coupon.

It's hard to say. I've been busy enjoying Classics/Universe lately and haven't really had any of the movie bots out. I think that Stockade is likely to remain one of my favorites though.

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)
And yet somehow Strika and Lugnut makes sense to me. I get the unfortunate feeling that Strika's going to "wear the pants" and we'll all be subjected to a lot of "guys are dumb ::eyeroll::" jokes. I'd also bet money that episode dedicated to her revolves around her and Lugnut tr...
