Re: Fall 2022 Hauls!!

A year after it was originally supposed to be published, Golden Age Superman omnibus volume 7 has finally appeared. They've picked a thinner paper for this one, which annoys me while reading, but otherwise it's good to see another 700 page reprint volume that finally finishes up the 1940s and reach...

Re: Transformers Rise of the Beasts

I'm interested. Some of the beasts are too big (Cheetor, Airazor) and some aren't (Primal, Rhinox? Hard to tell his scale since he wasn't next to anyone). They do look technorganic, which is an odd choice, but not enough to put me off. Interesting that Ron Pearlman is voicing Primal again. I also th...

Re: Transformers: Legacy

Tarantulas' spider face (or robot crotch) are facades of each-other. It is the sort of thing that I can accept on BW figures. But, it is still facade parts. I dunno man, that seems to be stretching the definition of "faux parts" a bit. The robot waist has nine "spider eyes" on i...

Re: Transformers: Legacy

I skipped Tarantulas and Knock-Out last week. (I saw then at Newbury's with prices that would make me blink even in better times.) Both look good, though Tarantulas's facade parts bother me. What facade parts? Don't skip this figure (at least not if you can find it at retail). It's the best Tarantu...

Re: Spring and Summer 2022 Hauls!!

More hauls! Forgot to mention that I also found Studio Series 86 core class Ratchet and Wheelie. Ratchet is pretty good, looks great in both modes and I have to assume that this means we're going to get a core class Ironhide at some point. Transformation is interesting and, even though mine took a w...

Re: Spring and Summer 2022 Hauls!!

I think you may have convinced me to buy Skids. I keep looking at the figure and thinking that it seems like a well-done version of the character. Might have to take the plunge. My most recent TF haul: War For Cybertron Tracks - great remake of Tracks, looks good in both modes. Lots of articulation...

Re: Transformers: Legacy

And... Terrorsaur. I've wanted this since it was announced, but missed out on the Amazon exclusive. There are still some available, but I'm done paying more than retail for figures and I sure as hell wasn't paying the $90.00 that's currently being asked for it (by Amazon Prime itself no less, meanin...

Re: Transformers: Legacy

Picked up Terrorsaur, Scorponok, and GS Selects Galvatron. I never saw Scorponok at retail (until yesterday in the 4 pack, which I did not get). I was ordering some other things on Amazon and decided to nab Scorponok and Galvatron. Gavlatron is actually on sale, so even better. Scorponok is... ok. H...

Re: Transformers: Legacy

The original toy had a black face. Which, wasn't show accurate either, but the darker color was a better approximation and looked better in comparison to this silver faced version. It's out now. I saw it at a local Target the other day. Yeah, I saw that after I posted this. Oh well, not the first t...

Like just about every first season of every tv show ever. But especially Star Trek.
