As I mentioned before, after IDW went to such lengths to be distant and different from the animated series, I think I'm more than ready for a Transformers continuity that references it like this one does. I'm feeling optimistic about the future here. I agree. I'm really liking it more than I expect...

Okay. I want to support TF comics, and I want them to do well, so I'm actually buying physical copies of these as they're released. Only two issues so far, but I'm enjoying it.

Damn, I actually wanted to give Image money for these comics, but I don't want a physical copy, and I will not give Comixology/Amazon anything. Guess I'm bootlegging these online and buying the compilations if I like them enough.

The Zord fight was the most disappointing part to me. I'd thought, based on the trailer, that they'd recreated the original suit for this. But it was all CGI, which kinda looked like something out of the Netflix War for Cybertron series. Yeah, I have to say I was bummed to see the Megazord as CGI. ...
