I don't get it Tigs, which do you think are the lazy names- the pre-TFTM ones which Budiansky et al invented, or the TFTM ones presumably invented by Dery? Because there's not much between them, if you ask me; for every Blurr there's an Arcee, and for every Grimlock there's a Jazz. ...I'm saying Blu...

Re: GI Joe General
Ok, I'm gonna ask a stupid question, as one of the board's main Joe virgins.
Where are Cobra based? Wherever they want around the world, like Venom, or a relatively locatable place like the Decepticons?

Re: Spotlight:
See, some fans put thought into it! That's probably the most humble self-insert account I've ever heard too, Crab. =p "Sure it's me, but he sucks!" Well, it is the RiDverse, there's gotta be a sense of comedy.

Because the creators decided that. So no, there really is no reason beyond titillation. Well, actually ... The idea was adopted into the X-men because they liked The Avengers and teenage boys like beating off. Sooo we're in agreement then. =p Anyone got a source which points up Floro Dery as the TF...

Re: Transformers Fan Built Bot Poll - Second Round
I must admit to wondering why it was formerly all dudes. If it's because we have more faith in a male TF not looking silly... well, I guess I can understand it. But aren't there enough of them? I'm not voting simply because of the weirdly perfunctory D&D choices. What the hell effect on their de...

Re: Dreamwave Armada - retro reviews
What *was* the main focus of the Armada cartoon? Whoever had Squirtle, Bulbasau--I mean the Star Saber, Skyboom Shield or Requiem Blaster at any given time?
btw
those weapon names
with the exception of Star Saber
*awful*

Re: Dreamwave Armada - retro reviews
A bad week indeed! I'll be honest, I struggled just with the *first* episode of Armada. Massively disappointing post-RiD animation, voice acting and QC aside, the world they present us with is so *barren*. Are there even other human beings? Inhabited cities? Do the three main kids have *families*? I...

Only pic missing: the kid lifting it as high as he can. How easy is that thing to actually *play* with?

Re: crazy customizing and creativity questions and discussio
We place a different value on "publishing" then. In the purest sense, what is the difference between getting published in Archie and having your work be one of the most celebrated pieces on fanfiction.net? Certainly not audience numbers. Money? As someone who has had both fiction and non-f...
