Re: GI Joe 25A Doc figures

As I said in the Hauls thread, my mother got me the HISS Tank, which means I can swap around some webgear on a few figures to turn my Python Officer into Hunter from the UK Action Force line. Hooray for customs portraying 25 year old rare Euro figures!

Re: Line completist blues

I tend to agree with O6. Alternators was just plumb no fun at all. I can appreciate the consistent scale of the line. But, for the price, I wanted more variate in aesthetic and engineering. (Not only were they not fun to fiddle with, if you fiddled with one, you fiddled with a few of them.) And, th...

Re: Are the repaints lacking?

I don't own any of the two-pack moulds, in fact, so I'll just snag them all...

...Oh, damnit, there I go again.

Re: Are the repaints lacking?

Well, holy shit. I'd somehow assumed he was a repaint of Titanium Starscream or something. Seeing as I don't own this mould in either Regular or Jumbo sizes, it's a pick up now.

Re: Animated Review Thread

I didn't talk about the flaws too much. And like 86, a lot of it was "Hey, this could've been so much worse!"

The studio didn't want the TFs to *talk,* for Chrissake.

Wait, huh? So Dirge is a repaint of CybStarscream, or am I wrong?

Thing is, I never liked the movie extremely much to begin with. I realized it had flaws, obviously, but they weren't as glaring or intrusive as they were on this recent watch.

Re: Onslaught Six's Tracking Topic

Of course, you have a girlfriend who works over-nights at Wal*Mart, so you should be fine. Indeed, I'm trying to educate her on the ways of the Toys currently. It's an interesting situation, though, because she actually lives about an hour and a half away from me. (It's only an hour from work, inci...

Re: proposal to restructure the board

I was talking about toy packaging and cartoon episodes actually. Dom -has been meaning to propose a board "Mosiac" series. I'd be in favour of the Mosaic idea, but the thing is, er, well. It needs art, see. Unless we just make it a prose thing, in which case, I'm all for it. We did that w...

We gave the toys context, though. RID2/MTMTE, baby.
