Re: Spring and Summer 2022 Hauls!!

SS86 Junkheap (Junkyard) - the remold of Wreck-Gar is possibly better than the original, his new sculpting has more detail, and his new paint is more fun. The ways he's worse is in his forearm panels blocking forearm-mounted shield wheels, the panels are movable but it's a pain to do in robot mode a...

Re: Movies are awesome

Sonic was an ok kids movie, I think the redesign was smart but the art wasn't really up to the level they were trying to convey, it felt too cartoony in its lack of detail. The story was fine, James Marsden really carries this film and works well with the cast, Jim Carrey was just doing his standard...

Re: Star Wars - General Discussion Thread

I'm not feeling OWK at all so far, it's halfway between the PT and OT yet the titular character is entirely mired in the post-ROTS misery for a solid decade, it's diminished his abilities and left him broken. That'd be fine if this was 6 months after ROTS, but we know where he ends up in ANH and thi...

Re: Transformers: Legacy

Boy, that wreck n' rule set went over like a lead balloon, huh? The hammer was cardboard role play stuff. I ended up getting all 4 deluxes and 2 voyagers in wave 1, as well as 1 of the core: - Iguanus - fun little dude, good detailing and paint, great range of motion, motorcycle mode's a little sill...

Re: Winter 2021-22 Hauls!!!

I got the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Studio Series, and I like B-127. His leg panels work, his color looks nice, his sculpting's good. His biggest drawback is his proportions with a tiny head and very wide shoulders. BBSS Kup and Cliffjumper I'm not as sure about. I think I prefer the clear windshields, e...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

Sadly, I can't see the custom work as the image URL appears to have expired. I should find a imagine hosting site rather than Facebook, didn't realize their URL would expire. I used Photobucket before, but since they started adding a stupid watermark, I wont use them anymore... But for the time bei...

Re: Winter 2021-22 Hauls!!!

I gave up on finding Siege Skywarp (or even Hotlink) and ordered the Earthrise Cybertronian Villains 2-pack of Thundercracker and Skywarp, it just arrived a few minutes ago and I haven't even opened it yet already see that Skywarp's chest paint is has a small chip on the front. I didn't like this mo...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

Sadly, I can't see the custom work as the image URL appears to have expired. I also got Terrorsaur, I really like him, I think the engineering works better for him than it does Airazor. The golden disk is shot in red plastic and given a dull gold paint job, it's odd but kinda has an energy when you ...

Re: TV shows are awesome

Book of Boba's finale didn't make up for the show's flaws, but I enjoyed the ride, if you catch my drift. The first half was a clumsy episode, but the second half was incredibly fun and awesome, kept ratcheting up the excitement. Peacemaker was a great finale, I don't want to spoil anything, but it ...

Re: TV shows are awesome

Yup, gotta agree on all that. Only thing that rubbed me the wrong way on TBoBF this ep was the music, it was all over the place. Not bad, but definitely not always on target.

Peacemaker, I'm an ep behind, still fun although uneven.
