Re: My favorite Transformers - G1

Quick Combaticon origion recap: Megatron exiles SS to a deserted island. (Starscream had recently failed in yet another coup attempt, and Megatron had simply had enough of Starscreams shenanigans.) Starscream finds abandonded WWII vehicles lying about. He notes that an old tank (which I am not sure ...

Re: Decline in detail? From extensive remolding to repaints

Depending on how the parts were gang-molded, swapping out Jazz/Meister's head to the Smokescreen body may not have worked. (Would the head even fit that body?) Of course, using the Meister mold would have made sense. Of course, there were some lame recolors early in the line. Remember Dead-end? That...

Re: Universe Review Thread

It sounds like Monzo earned getting his screen-name plastered on a toy. He did help out Hasbro. (Granted, if Hasbro stayed on the copyright ball in the first place, they would not have needed his help, but that just makes Monzo all the nicer for helping them.) I can see what O86 is saying about Heav...

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)

Remember, I have not seen the show. I have read some adaptations and summaires. So, my question: Are we to assume that all of the characters buy into the mystical elements (or even utilitarian elements) of the powerful McGuffin the way viewers do?

Re: variations in TF movie context

Granted, the original Generation 1 series had many, especially after one factored in children's books and such. But, I expected the movie to be more tightly controlled. I have to say I'm not at all surprised. I'm pretty sure multiple iterations of continuity exist for most movies that get the wide ...

SWTF MKI starfighter question

If anyone can tell me how the head connects to the body, it would be appreciated. I am thinking of swapping the head with an "Energon" Starscream head, to make either Starscream or Sunstorm.

Re: Hasbro took away SWTF minifigures!!!

I could have sworn the new ones had pilots.

I do not see how this makes the line worse though.

Re: My favorite Transformers - G1

Onslaught had one of the best cartoon intros ever. I still remember it fondly.
