Re: variations in TF movie context
Even so, comic-based films are at least consistent from the film. For example, "Iron Man" the movie is still "iron Man" the movie. And, direct spin-offs tend to be consistent. With "Transformers", the movie has more variations than some other branches of the franchise....

Re: variations in TF movie context
Granted, the original Generation 1 series had many, especially after one factored in children's books and such. But, I expected the movie to be more tightly controlled. I have to say I'm not at all surprised. I'm pretty sure multiple iterations of continuity exist for most movies that get the wide ...

Re: Your demands for ROTF
Pretty much I just want to see the robots have more screen time and development (both Autobot and Decepticon).

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)
As for nobody checking for Allspark chunks, why would they? Well when Ultra Magnus left Earth he gave Optimus Prime's crew two mission objectives, to capture the remaining Decepticons and recollect the Allspark shards. Speaking of which, Ratchet used the pieces they had gathered to jump start Omega...

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)
Given that Starscream alone almost trumped Magnus in the one time they actually faced off, what's with the hiding? The Autobots no longer have the advantage of the Allspark, either.. I'd have to agree. If ONE Decepticon is a match for a whole team worth of Autobots, then really why have the Decepti...

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)
She may be a cyborg in the legalistic "Terminator" sense, (vat grown carbon based organic mass not of woman born), but I doubt she is a "cyborg" in the traditional sense. I just don't see it... From what we've seen of Sumdac's products, it doesn't look to me like they're capable...

Re: Line completist blues
Back to the topic.... There are seven Alternators I don't have. I purposefully skipped Ricochet, Rollbar and Optimus Prime. I just didn't care for those three, and I count MP Prime as their leader so I didn't really see a need for another Prime. Ravage II and Rumble I never saw in stores. And the tw...

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)
I think the slug in the first episode was monkey-wrenched by Megatron though. Megatron wasn't even online at the time. There is no way he had any effect on that experiment. It wasn't until the next episode "Home is Where the Spark is" when Sari used her key to try and force open the door ...

Blasphemy! Every episode of Beast Wars is sacred, as decreed by the Covenant of Primus.BWprowl wrote:No one should watch Pre-'Trigger' Beast Wars. That should just be the law.

Re: Animated Series discussion thread (spoilers allowed)
I would assume Sari is a very intricately designed machine, using nano-tech and such. Remember the enhanced slug from the first episode? She might be like that, and have some organic parts. And, given the rules of cartoon engineering, (and what we know machines can do *now* anyway), it is not too u...
