Re: Feedback thread

+1 for Dom, who sent a box with stuff I didn't even expect, including some FCBD stuff, which is cool because I didn't get to go that day!

Re: February/March Hauls

With TF on the slow side, my last month has primarily been a series of buying NECA Predators off eBay. What started at Christmas with a simple "I'll get one and see where that goes" has ballooned up into nine of the ugly motherfuckers (plus an Alien and an Engineer from Prometheus), and I've got at ...

Re: Botcon 2016 figures

Fun Publications isn't writing the comic though, IDW is. Bove has only ever coloured some stuff for IDW. Corin is a bigger name, having done 6 issues of one of the Windblade series, but that's it. It's "IDW doing the comic" when IDW publish it on stands; what's probably more realistic is FunPub han...

Re: BWII & Neo Reviews

LioConvoy is on my list, because. Today we have from BWNeo, Survive! Survive is a repaint of Polar Claw. Do you own Polar Claw? Why not? He's probably the coolest and most solid Mega class figure from Beast Wars, without any of the fiddly problems guys like Inferno or Scavenger have, and he's readil...

BWII & Neo Reviews

Since the current crop of stuff is a little dry, I started finally delving back into some cool Japanese stuff I've always wanted, that I'm sure others have wanted too but weren't sure if they should ever really pull the trigger. At this moment, over the last few months I've acquired BWII Galvatron, ...

Re: New York Toy Fair 2016

The PMOP at the booth had the cab opened to show Hi-Q piloting it. Some angles don't make this clear. PMOP and Chromedome are must haves, but I can pass quite a few of the others off. Blurr, Brainstorm, Scourge and others don't look great, or I have a better version. Once they get up to Nightbeat or...

Re: Combiners, do you see them as giants or regular height?

I am not a fan of mass-shifting. But, most Combiners more or less require that assumption to reconcile how the parts fit together. Bruticus is the most flagrant example. But, most of the the Combiners would require a certain amount of mass shifting to work. This is assuming Blastoff's shuttle mode ...

Re: Star Trek

I've only really watched TNG. But when I watch it, I do just watch it straight through, because IMO after early S2 there aren't any really bad episodes until the last season.

Spring Hauls

I got: -Energon Tidal Wave, complete in box. $40 shipped from Canada, worth it. He's beautiful. -NECA Predator 2 video game version City Hunter - Randi got me the Dark Horse Predator for Christmas, so the floodgates are open. Re: Star Wars Episode VII (allowing for spoilers)

Anderson, you make the argument that "at least we saw that Anakin was a good kid," but we didn't see that for 20 years after ROTJ. We know we'll see more Kylo Ren; the next movie is likely to focus hugely on his past. Wait a couple years! Also, I don't like this idea that Han and Leia's breakup and ...
