Re: 2024 Hauls

Back in the mid-90s I started reading the Nightwing series by Chuck Dixon and Scott McDaniel, but my comic reading was very sporadic at the time, so I didn't get far even though I enjoyed the series. Now I'll get to catch up. Got the Nightwing Compendium vol. 1 , which collects about 40 issues of Ni...

40th Anniversary Transformers event

https://i.imgur.com/EvYcpoU.png I went to see this at the local movie theater today, and really enjoyed it. It was basically the first four episodes of the original Transformers series on the big screen (I was 13 when they first aired!!), except that for the first episode they brought back the surv...

Re: Skybound Transformers series

Well, I 'm out. Dropped the series from my pull list. I'm just not enjoying it. I keep waiting for a plot beyond "Transformers try to kill each other" and "introduce a familiar character then kill them off". I was hoping for more.

Batman #88 concluded.... The Son of Batman! #RIPDoctorWho. Although in my opinion they had already killed this show, they're just putting bullets into the corpse now.

Re: Star Wars - General Discussion Thread

The Bad Batch finale was available yesterday, and it finished pretty strong. I think this series in general has been a good follow up to The Clone Wars, showing some of what happened to the clones after the rise of the Empire and the early days of Palpatine's attempts to create a force-sensitive cl...

Re: Movies are awesome

Ghostbusters - I had never actually seen most of this movie, though so much from it has seeped into popular culture that it felt very familiar. The fact that they've made a couple of sequels in recent years with the surviving original cast coming back after 40 years got me interested in watching th...
