Re: Spring hauls 2017
So is this where I should pop in? I got Topspin and Perceptor last week and they're super neat. Topspin especially, I love everything about him. Would love to see him used as a basis for an Ironfist somehow. As for why I stopped popping in as much, life has somewhat gotten in the way of discussion t...

Re: TF5: The Last Knight
That was a decade ago. I did things a decade ago that I'm not proud of--shit, I did things this week I'm not proud of. And if anything, Bay's views on women seem like they come from a place of societal ignorance rather than out and out maliciousness.

Re: IDW merging Transformers with Joe, other Hasbro comics
Of those three, Sunstreaker is the one I think is most likely to be intended to stick. McCarthy's words over the years have been dodgy about Thundercracker's intended fate, which--me reading into it--says that his intent was for Skywarp to kill Thundercracker, but he left it ambiguous either because...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread
Almost bought Gavatron, but that face mask situation doesn't get better in person. It really doesn't! So, I DID get Galvatron. Of the first wave toys, he's the one I wanted the most, because it's been YEARS since there was even a proper Galvatron toy, and there's never been a truly great one. This ...

Re: Summer Hauls
Things have been dry so I definitely haven't been around. It's the ebb and flow of the line, right? Plus I just fell out of the routine, but I'm gonna make the effort as the new line marches on. Last week I got a preorder notification for TR Galvatron and G2 Bruty, and I didn't have the money so I i...

Re: The Transformers (IDW, formerly "Robots in Disguise")
Flipped through the current issue yesterday. Even discounting the art, the writing is enough to keep me away. I am not conceptually against using "Robots in Disgrace" as the media-support for the current toys. That does not ruin the series as a whole. But, if they are going to use this series to pu...

Re: TF5 gets official title
Bay is an idiot and I doubt he'll be called Megatron in the final film because if Hasbro is smart they won't fucking let him do that. Bay has a tendency to just refer to Decepticons by whatever name suits him at the time and ignore what Hasbro says--which is mindboggling in the age of Marvel or even...

Re: IDW merging Transformers with Joe, other Hasbro comics
Dom is right. As much as I hate reboots for the sake of reboots, the current IDW continuity has become rather convoluted in the last four years or so with all of the caste system ideas and huge revisionist history that Roberts and Barber have brought to the table. I'm not saying it's not good, but t...

Re: TILL ALL ARE ONE interview with Mairghread Scott
I think Windblade only fizzled out so it could be replaced by this; I think what happened was they realized a few issues in that the story was not focused entirely on Windblade. It'd be like if MTMTE was titled Transformers: Hot Rod; yeah he's in it, and he's important, but it's not solely about him.
