Re: Transformers/Terminator crossover

"Genisys" is not ad. It is not "Judgement Day". But, it is under-appreciated. Constant changes to the timeline in those films cause those reasons to change from film-to-film, but Skynet is still created at some point causing a war that devastates the Earth, and time travel sending a Terminator into ...

issue 10

The fourth (and reportedly final) arc of "Galaxies" focuses on Magnus. Much like the early 2005-19 run, the current run of comics is treating Magnus as a variant of the character established in the 80s. In this case, Magnus' motivation is a sense of duty to Alpha Trion (who has been missing since be...

issue 23

I managed to get the LaFuente Megatron cover. (Actually, that might have been the only cover that the comic store got.) This issue is what the series has been building to for 2 years. Any question about Megatron's motivation can be put to bed. Any benign intention that he may have had is completely ...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

Maybe they are working deep-cover at a natural history museum, like"Dinozaurs"?

issue 4

"Transformers" is dominant as it is both the reason for Skynet, and the reason for the time-travel. Skip "Dark Fate". It is so much worse than you are expecting. ("Salvation" was better.) Issue 4: I flipped through this. Most of the Transformers end up dead. The T-800 manipulates Bumblebee in to usi...

Re: new "Transformers '84" series announced

It turns out that "Transformers '84" is a four issue series, which was enough to convince me to pick up issue 3. The thing that jumps out (beyond my previous flip-through) is Star Saber retreating, less than a page after promising to fight to the end. Furman is not even trying anymore. Frankly, I ho...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

Maybe the skeletons are an ambush mode, similar to Guiledart (from "Beast Wars Neo") having a corpse mode?

So far, Cyclonus is the only one that I am likely to talk myself in to.

Re: Transformers Kingdom

The robot mode looks good. But, the beast mode, especially the tail, looks awful.

Rattrap looks okay. Cyclonus is beautiful. (I might be tossing my 25A Cyclonus.)

Re: War for Cybertron: Earthrise line

There is no need for Cliffjumper to be larger. Price point is only partly determined by size. It is also a question of complexity. Cliffjumper has at least as many moving parts as any other figure at that price point. I would pay for something the quality of Cliffjumper before buying a cheaper figur...

Re: new "Transformers '84" series announced

Even of Furman "needs" to fill in (non-existing) gaps, he could do so without over-writing or as much back-writing.

He could have done something quick and simple about why Red Alert never showed up in the US comic, rather than the fanfic-grade scat-fight he wrote in issue 3.
