Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

Glad to be able to help. Got Rattrap as I mentioned in the other thread, better than I expected even if beast mode is static and there are a few things that should lock in place which don't. SS86 Scourge - got this for $19 at Target with the help of coupons and discounts and my store's lower price o...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

Unfocused is exactly what it is. It's trying to be equal parts Earthrise, Beast Wars homage, and Studio Series 86, which the axiom says makes it a master of none, but it actually seems to embody Generations as a line entirely, for all its good and ills. I can't imagine the Netflix 'show' will be any...

Re: TV shows are awesome

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Starting on a 10-minute action scene where the goals and stakes are incredibly unclear, only to jump into the very boring personal life of Sam Wilson, is a bit too much. I was shocked that the Winter Soldier elements of his personal life were incredibly compelling, ...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

Is Jazz better than the RTS version? Because that's the Jazz I'm using in my collection right now. Which has great articulation and no feet sticking out of the back of the alt mode. It depends on what you want, if you want a Jazz figure straight from the cartoon, SS86 is a figure you cannot beat. I...

Re: TV shows are awesome

Monica was the first human Captain Marvel, not Carol Danvers the way the MCU has it (she wouldn't take up that mantle until 2012, she was Ms. Marvel in '77), Monica gave up the Captain Marvel moniker when Mar-Vell's son wanted to become a hero, and took "Photon" with a look similar to her look here...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

Kingdom Cyclonus is amazing, really love this figure in both modes. Blackarachnia is pretty good for what she is, they lost the waist articulation and her alt mode could hold together better for all the extra crap in the underside, but she looks like she popped right off the screen. Optimus Primal I...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

Nice, I like SS86 Kup a fair bit, he's far from perfect but he's got charm. Grimlock is pretty good, nice and big, but the crappy dark smoke chest and the non-clear neck, the dubious Wheelie all hold it back. Hot Rod is good but not great due to a high pricetag, dubious vehicle mode that's low-slung...

Re: Winter Hauls

Been a while, everything's been a tad crazy more, so I'll just do a few highlights: TF ER Soundwave w/ Ravage & Laserbeak - this is an oddball set, but likable for 3 remolds that I never got in Siege. Ravage has no tail but has an open mouth, he's painted like a microcassette, I don't love or hate t...

Re: Star Wars - General Discussion Thread

I've had The Mandalorian theme stuck in my head ever since the finale. It's truly amazing we finally have something Disney Star Wars that really feels like it both gets Star Wars and is able to go somewhere new.

Re: How is everyone doing in the age of the Corona Virus?

I developed a fever last night but thankfully it broke pretty quickly. Still don't have my test results back (not that I expected to get them today, especially given the holiday), but I think it's safe to say I have it at this point... On a happier note, congratulations on getting engaged! Thanks. ...
