The worst offenders are BW Inferno and Scavenger. Despite their size, they look like ants on the shelves.

Re: Movies are awesome

This got cut from the film (unfortunately) but was explained in a deleted scene by Bruce Willis's character The process by which a movie becomes shitty -- through cutting key scenes or never bothering to do them in the first place -- is kind of irrelevant. Author's intent doesn't matter. --the time...

Re: Why did the BWTF.com message forum close down?

Not quite, Sparky. FROM THE TOP: When the last board shut down, the moderators could still get in. I distinctly remember 86 asking me if there was anything important that I hadn't saved--I think he backed up the Alternators RPG bits we wrote, and that was about it. (In retrospect, I wish he had sav...

Re: Beast Hunters toy pics

Let me put it another way. Remember Oil Slick from Animated? The creators of that cartoon said at Botcon 2008 that they didn't even know that toy design existed until Hasbro revealed it to the public. Hasbro didn't intend for him to be in the show at all, but the shows creators later worked Oil Sli...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

They did that! It was just named Longarm. Nope--I was referring to the Botcon custom class Longarm that Shocktrek talks about above. Here, just look at it. http://tfwiki.net/w2/images2/a/a4/Timelinestoy-BC2012Longarm.jpg That is beautiful. Replace the Autobot symbols with Decepticon, and we have a ...

Re: Movies are awesome

Chopping as I quote... I posted this on Tumblr, and figured--what the heck, why not here? ONSLAUGHT SIX'S TOP 6(ISH) MOVIES OF 2012 IN NO ORDER 1. Looper 2. Prometheus 3. The Dark Knight Rises 4. The Avengers 5. Chronicle 6. The Amazing Spiderman Prometheus was a disappointment. It was a perfectly a...

Re: Decepticons Unessential

This is what I mean, when I say the Decepticons are nothing but moving obstacles. They're not written as characters. The stories are first and foremost about the humans. And considering that the Decepticons basically don't interact with Ron and Judy at all, you really have to wonder why they are th...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

They did that! It was just named Longarm. Longarm is TF:Animated, and there really aren't many TF:Animated molds that could ever fit in with Classics/Generations. I really can't think of any, since the design elements are too different. Shockwave would be great if he were bigger, and a little more ...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

Yeah, actually I'm gonna disagree there, Shockwave is really the best of the three, with Optimus a close second and Jazz actually being the worst of the three. I'd have to agree. Shockwave is a pretty awesome toy, aside from the size. I don't mind the new alt-mode -- it seems to fit the character. ...
