I admit to a jealousy for those who have Ollie's. We've never even heard of it up here.andersonh1 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 9:47 am It pays to keep an eye on Ollie's if you have one nearby. Found movie deco G1 Preceptor for $10 today. I always love a bargain G1 reissue.![]()

Re: Retro Comics are Awesome
For me it's been Batman and Superman via the DC omnibuses. Superman isn't as popular as he used to be, but the character was a sales juggernaut in the 50s and 60s, and of course Batman has spent a long time now as DC's most popular character. Hard to believe he was almost cancelled due to low sales...

Re: Video Games are awesome
Super Metroid is one of the all time best video games in my book. I have played it SO MANY times. Of course, SNES is also my favorite console.

That stuff is always interesting to see.andersonh1 wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 4:07 amIt's an interesting time capsule from an early era in the character's history, and that's what I was hoping for.

Just finished the original 66 issue run of Silver Age X-Men. It really ends like they know the series is over. It's strange to be reading these from the future already knowing the juggernaut this franchise becomes.

Re: 2025 Hauls!
So, I was very disappointed with SS86 Swoop, to the point that it threw me off wanting any of the Dinobots. I just opened my SS86 Swoop. My God he is disappointing. I like the other four enough. What happened here? It's a good thing he was the last one they released. I would not have gotten them al...

Re: Retro Comics are Awesome
I've got the first three omnibuses, so I've read the first 100 issues of Spider-Man. It's a pretty enjoyable series. I like the Steve Ditko issues quite a bit. Surprising that the series is only set in Peter's high school for 17 or 18 issues, and then he's off to college. I'd have expected more tim...

Re: Age of the Primes
I've skipped all the previous collabs, but the Hot Wheels ones do grab me. I guess it makes sense that a company that makes cool cars collabing with a company that makes cool robots would create something really cool looking. I'd love a new, big BWII Galvatron. I think I've given up on getting one s...

Re: Age of the Primes
I love that Hot Wheels collab hot rod. I can't say no to a goofy looking hot rod (the car design, not the character). That being said; since this is the "Age of the Primes" where the eff is my Mammoth Convoy? Magmatron has no one to foil!
