One thing I'll say is that I like the designs Don Figueroa did me they still retain the G1 feel but with a very cybernetic emphasis, though I'm not that crazy about all white Jazz.

Three panels or a page with Ratchet telling the humans all six phases no little details just the phases, that would've been all we needed know. I don't put much though on those hiccups mainly because I feel it's part of the TF's charm. I mean a good part Transformers fiction has them (it almost seems like a tradition) so i don't really mind. I almost think that -on IDW- it's been done on purpose.
