Re: Transformers Kingdom

I see your point with Alpha Trion, but I'm not sure that would work with Air Razor/Skywarp. I mean, Alpha Trion and Broadside have completely different alt modes, so it made sense to completely remold them with a lot of retooling. Skywarp has exactly the same alt mode and is a much smaller figure. ...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

This is why I said they could have re-engineered the head /chest of the figure... If they were to make the beast mode's head part of the robot's head, then obviously they'd retool the figure's chest as well. But honestly, I think they could have retooled this figure in a number of ways. Like keep t...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

The eagle head becomes the robot chest, so if that then becomes the head, what do they do for the chest? Leave it empty? Have some sort of third party style add on that fills in that gap? Honestly, I think they did the best they could with what they had. I ain't complaining. Besides, they basically ...

Re: Transformers Kingdom

I'm in. Air Razor is an amazing figure and it stands to reason that they would figure a way to repaint/remold the Kingdom figures so yeah this seems like a pretty obvious one. I mean, given how the mold works, how else were they supposed to get the eagle head on the robot head?

Re: Spring 2021 Hauls!!

Kingdom Warpath. I had been planning to skip this one since I still have Generations Warpath, but I recently had problems with the missile sticking out of the back of that one. While trying to rearrange things, it was knocking over all of the other figures. So I've decided to replace it. Kingdom War...

Re: Beast Wars (2021) ongoing series

Did Megatron shoot missiles from his tail? I don't remember that. Wasn't there an episode where Scorponok launched a missile while in beast mode? I mean, logistically, I don't see why it couldn't work. But again, it would depend on the alt mod. I couldn't see either Tarantulus or Blackarachnia flipp...

Re: Beast Wars (2021) ongoing series

That might be unique to Primal because of where they're located. Like, Cheetor probably can't just disembowel his beast mode to use his "gut gun", plus his beast mode doesn't have limbs capable of holding a weapon. With Primal's arm cannons being built in and not needing to be held, I really feel li...

Re: Spring 2021 Hauls!!

Finally... I knew if I was patient these would turn up in stores around here. Studio Series 86 Hot Rod has finally started turning up in local Wal-Marts, two months after Shockwave mentioned that he had found them in his area, and I picked one up. I appreciate the offer to ship one to me, but I kne...

Re: Winter Hauls

Those Target Galaxy's Edge Trading Post figures are actually Hasbro's figures, not the Disney Parks ones. The Astromechs are similar and interchangeable with the Disney Parks ones because the Disney Parks ones originated with the Hasbro build-a-droid body system initially back in the day, but the D...
